Good service. Had got my front tyre cut. They got it replaced under warranty
I recently changed tyres for my 17 year old Honda Activa and had a very good experience here. I had been to multiple tyre showrooms. Most of them did not have good tyres for my Activa and even I suspected some shops were selling used tyres as new one. Most shops did not have stock and asked me to come later after making payment. In some shops I found good tyres but they would not do the fitment as I had tube tyres currently and they said it was difficult to fit and asked me to get the tyres fitted from puncture shop. Here fortunately I found MRF and Michelin tyres both. Prices of both were reasonable. I decided to go with Michelin despite being 250 rupees more compared to MRF. I had MRF tyres earlier but wanted to try Michelin this time. Now coming to fitment the owner who also did the fitment suggested I go with tubeless option since my old tubes had lot of punctures already. Also he suggested me to buy new rims for tubeless tyres. I decided against it since my scooter was very old and I did not want to make an additional investment of 1800 rs for a set of rims. So the owner inspected my current rims and he said he could try fitting the tubeless in them since they still were in good condition. He put some effort, cleaned my rusted rims and after a few attempts the tyre bead finally locked in the grove of my old rear rim. The front tyre got fit in the first attempt itself. It took about 20 minutes to fit. Overall the tyres coste me 1650 each. I had to buy new valves for 150 each since my old tyres were tube. And 100 Rs for tyre fitting charges. Which was worth it since it took some effort. The tyres give really good grip and ride experience.
